FAQ
When should we book senior pictures?
Senior sessions can be booked anytime during senior year, but I recommend reaching out early- especially if you're hoping for fall! Popular dates and that gorgeous fall light tend to go quickly.
What should my senior wear?
Wear what feels like YOU! Once you're booked, I'll help with outfit planning so we can choose pieces that photograph beautifully and give your gallery plenty of variety. For sessions with multiple outfits, I usually recommend mixing it up- a dressier look, something casual, and something that really shows off your personality!
How do we choose a location?
We'll choose your location together based on the look and feel you want for your pictures. Downtown and architectural, fields and golden light, something more natural- or a combination! If you have a location that's meaningful to you, I always want to hear about it!
What if my senior feels awkward in front of the camera?
Totally normal- and they do not need to know how to pose! I'll guide them through the entire session with posing, movement, and prompts so they never have to wonder what to do. My goal is for things to feel relaxed and for their photos to actually look and feel like them.
Can we bring a pet?
YES. Please do! Just let me know beforehand so we can choose a pet-friendly location and plan for the parts of the session when your furry friend isn't needed.
Should parents come to the session?
YES! I actually encourage it. Seniors tend to relax and enjoy their session so much more when a parent is nearby. I do ask that parents give us a little space while we're shooting so your senior can focus on me, loosen up, and let their personality come through. Stay close, cheer them on, hep with outfits changes, and enjoy watching- but let me take the lead behind the camera.
Do you travel for senior sessions?
Yes! I'm based in the Poplar Bluff area but am happy to travel for the right location. A travel fee may apply depending on distance.
When will we receive our photos?
Your finished gallery will be delivered within 1-4 weeks of your session. Once it's ready, you'll receive a private online. gallery where you can download your images, share your favorites, and order professional prints.
How do we book?
Choose the senior experience that fits you best and reach out through the contact form bellow. A signed agreement and retainer is collected to officially reserve your date, with the remaining balance due on or before your session. You can also contact me through my business or personal Facebook page. I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
